So much research went into wireless mics for my Dslr my head started to spin. Yes, you could get cheaper mics but the crap shoot of noise, radio interference, split mono sound, and poor manufacturing made my choice simple. Go with a trusted brand with reputation and warranty to back them up. With zZounds payment plans it was a no brainer. Glad I did because my first job with these went smooth. Plus the client loved that it wasnt a bulky body pack. They run hot so be sure to dial down your input settings on you camera. I'd you DONT have that feature, these are NOT for you. Out of 1 to 10 input levels, My Canon had to be at the 2 mark for these to not peak out.
