"Didn't break the piggy bank and plays like high dollar I feel."
I would buy again if need be. My first schecter after owning several strats, epiphones and an SG. Probably the best I have had yet I feel as far as price involved and playability.
Sound
Sound and tone are great lots of variety.
Features
Like the tuners alot along with the volume and tone nobs which feel nice, big and chunky easier to dial in it feels than my other strat guitars. Nice string height no buzz yet. Nice neck with great kinda thick feel. Great looking style les Paul type thing tweaked abit very well done. Finish is beautiful.
Ease of Use
Very payable hard to put down. Works and sounds great with my danelectro pedals and digitech guitar rp50 processor. Sounds great without pedals or effects as well. Sweet tones thru my vox pathfinder amp.
Quality
Seems very well made no flaws i can see. Set up very well when first purchased.
Value
This is a great guitar for 500 bucks. Feels, plays and looks like it could sell for 700 to 900 dollar range. Had money left over for accessories which would not have happened with other guitars i was thinking of taking home but this was my final decision and Im glad as well was my wallet.
Manufacturer Support
Have not delt directly with company bought mine thru a small music shop at mall. Paid slightly more thru them but hey feel good supporting my local shop. In a very small town on tex/mex border. They made the buying experience nice and helpful

Schecter Tempest Standard = a great $500 axe and the Zzounds purchase experience was icing on the cake.
Sound
Very good tone overall, but a little thin when coil splitting. Nevertheless, the coil splitting can render a very acoustic sounding tone. Nice!
Features
The coil splitting, the grovers, and a nice, fast neck! This "economy" version came right out of the box with a great set up and excellent intonation.
Ease of Use
Plays great, sounds good, and that makes playing it real easy.
Quality
I'm very happy with the build quality! The fit and finish is excellect, absolutely zero issues electronically or otherwise.
Value
Considering the price of ?500, I almost feel like I stole it! Add Zzounds excellent fast service, free shipping, fast delivery, and "pay as you go option" and you got a home run!
Manufacturer Support
Haven'y had to use it.
The Wow Factor
I have a 71 Gibby LP (which I purchased brand new) and I won't say this "bests" it. I will say though, that I tried out and researched alot of guitars over a period of about 6 months, and this seemed an obvious choice.
Musical Background:
Hobbyist, Semi active.
Musical Style:
Classic rock, Rock, metal, even some country and funk.

I expect this will be with me for the rest of my life. Maybe someday a lucky nephew or niece may get it.
Sound
The sound is good. I have a 71 LP and this guitar won't push it aside, but it's got plenty of tone of it's own and the coil split feature is really nice.
Features
The standard doesn't have the pretty stuff the Tempest custom has, but it does have the coil-splitting feature and that's nice!
I got the goldtop and the finish is perfect!
Ease of Use
Good setup and intonation right out of the box.
Quality
Not a blem on it. Finish is nice, parts fit together well, nothing loose. tuners and knobs work smoothly. Everything works as expected.
Value
For the price this is an outstanding playing & looking guitar!
Manufacturer Support
This is an unknown. Have not used it.
The Wow Factor
Sure, it doesn't have the Tempest Custom's split inlays and the like, but it still a good looking, great playing and sounding axe.
Musical Background:
Hobbyist, semi-active
Musical Style:
Classic rock, blues, southern rock, metal, country.
