I choose this guitar after finding out that my preferences were 25.5 inch scale, 14 inch radius (big hands) and i love 2 humbuckers and the T-style body. After having ordered the guitar, the action seemed way too high. My tech made some adjustments ( frets polished, crowned, another volumepot because of a crack) but i prefered even lower action, so did it myself. Then the volumedrop in the 2nd and 4th position of the 5way switch first seemed to make these positions useless. But the sound is so beautiful that i decided to fix it with a booster pedal. The sound is very versatile and from warm jazz to screaming soloing is possible. I fixed the bridge, though I don’t know if it works properly with tremolo arm. The neck feels absolutely great, not sticky and fast to play.

Comparing this to $1,500 fender... I can't believe this doesn't cost $2,000.The build quality, range of tones, the tone with low or high gain... This thing goes from sweet singing blues to high gain metal so easily. I wish I tried one sooner. Story: so I had a horrible experience with Sweetwater... Ordered an American Strat Pro ii. First was defective... Returned. Second had a faulty knob... Returned. Thought maybe it was the strat pro's, so I ordered a Richie kotzen signature tele... I bought new, but Sweetwater sent used (likely a return), I returned. Tried to get a new one, and they still sent me a scratched up demo... Then they said I returned too much and they didn't want to do a return. A little arguing about the fact I received two guitars that had Major issues, and two used when I ordered new .. and they finally let me return the guitar... So I'm done with Sweetwater and their horrible service and fake 55 point inspection.Received this today and was blown away ..First it is new. No scratches, no blemishes.Second, it's an unbelievably good guitar.I honestly can't believe how inexpensive it is. It doesn't come with a case, most schecter guitars don't... But that helps get great quality and tone and feel for a lot less than other companies. This is my second Schecter, and I'm honestly blown away by their quality at these prices. This is coming from someone who has owned artist editions of American guitars priced much much higher.
