I am completely new to 7 string guitars and with this guitar, I'll never buy a six string again. The maple fingerboard and ash body are surprisingly light, I thought the guitar was going to much heavier and I love the tone that it produces. Not really too many features,This guitar is very simple with a 3 way pickup selector and 1 volume knob, but I like it that way, The guitars satin finish is really smooth and makes going up and down the fretboard very easy and comfortable. Although I've had guitars with thinner necks, something about the comfort of this neck enables me to play just as fast or it not faster. My only complaint is that it is kinda hard to play up to the 23rd and 24th frets, but it is a minor inconvenience to me. This guitar feels really solid and comfortable in your hands. This is the best guitar I have ever owned and one of the best guitar I have ever played. Although almost 1000 is expensive, it's truly worth every penny for this amazing and quality instrument, Expecially in a market where there isn't many choices for left handed players.
Sound
Even when not plugged in, it still gives a bright and clear sound. The EMGs have a good response and a tight bottom end response too.
