I just paid mine off recently. Thank you zZounds, this is one of the best instruments I have ever owned. I bought the cherry see thru burst.. Right out of the box it was in tune, played and felt great! I put some Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinkys on it and this guitar SINGS. Perfect for my style of playing and sounds amazing through my Crate practice amp and my Randall head! Still cannot locate the "blemish".

Musical Background:

Played guitar for 40 years, semi-professionally and jam at home, also bass and learning drums

Musical Style:

metal, psychedelic rock, 50s doo wop

I'm super impressed with this guitar. For the money, you can't beat it. This guitar is gorgeous and arrived setup pretty darn well. The neck was properly adjusted. Intonation was spot on. The only thing I did was drop the action a bit. This thing plays like a beast now. I've been playing this dude for hours a day for two weeks. I've never had a guitar that holds tune so well. It's really impressive.

I ordered a Schecter C-6 Plus Electric Guitar, Ocean Blue Burst. It is beautiful! It looks much better than it does in the pictures. This is my first Schecter guitar. It was out of stock everywhere except zZounds.com. They shipped it fast and it arrived fast. It was packaged very well (it was inside 3 boxes with padding). It was even in tune when I pulled it out of the box. Outstanding! It sounds great and plays very nice. It's a very comfortable guitar. I can tell that it's going to become one of my favorite guitars (I own 10). I'm used to having to do a little work on every guitar I buy (setting the action, filing the fret edges, adjusting the truss rod, etc.) but I didn't have to do anything to this guitar. It was perfect out of the box! This is my first guitar with a string through body (most of my guitars have a floyd rose tremolo) and the sustain it provides is very nice. The pickups sound pretty good too.

Musical Background:

I've done vocals for over 30 years. I've played guitar about 20 years. I started playing bass and drums a few years ago. I'm 51.

Musical Style:

Thrash metal, heavy metal, death metal, punk, hard core, classic rock, and alternative.

If you are looking for a practice guitar, and if you are a beginner or intermediate guitarist, look no further. Light...yet, rugged. Easy to tune: nut, bridge, strings...and she stays in tune through hours of bend, hammer on and off, slides, and shreds. She's a very fun and friendly axe...especially with Ernie Ball 9-46 Slinky Cobalt strings. Wait until you hear how clear the EADGBE harmonic notes sound on the 24th fret...if you are trying to learn lead guitar, and you want to master the upper register...this is what you need. Tough, reliable, nice-looking, light and easy to hold and play (even on your lap, without a strap)...this little guitar rocks!Oh, and down below...I didn't mark the Manufacturer Support because I haven't needed to call them

Musical Background:

I have been playng music for a long time...about 50 years. I can play alto sax, guitar and bass...and I play at home.

Musical Style:

Blues, Jazz, rock
