Schecter Black Jack PT Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
With the quality of the workmanship, the amazing hardware and pickups, and the lifetime warranty... I expect to have this axe forever!
Sound
Real Duncan JB/'59 combo... in a mahogany, set-neck guitar? Worth the price of admission, just based on these features. Sounds like an LP, Strat and Tele.. depending on where ya flip the switch.
Features
Besides the real Duncans, you get a real Tone Pros locking bridge, and Grover tuners, all hardware in a slick chrome blach finish.
Ease of Use
Schecter does not include manuals with there guitars, so there is a bit of a lerning curve to the 5-way switch, but it's not too bad. Very playable guitar right out of the box, excellent QC here in the U.S. on these Korean made axes.
Quality
Beautiful black finish, 5 ply binding, and, as mentioned before, stunning, quality chrome black hardware through-out! My only concern on this (and most guitars of this price range) it the nut. Would love to see a bone, tusg, or graphite nut coming stock on these guitars.
Value
I think these guitars (the entire Blackjack series) is the best bang ya can get for the buck!!!
Manufacturer Support
To be honest, the only time I have ever had to contact them was to register the guitar, so no info here for ya.
The Wow Factor
I have 5 electric guitars, and time and time again, I say if I could only keep one, this would be the one!

I own several high end guitars and none are any better than this.
Sound
Real Duncan pickups says it all.
Features
Top of the line hardware. Give me one reason why a $3000 PRS or a high priced LP are any better than this guitar except for maybe the poly finish instead of nitro lacquer. It is rock solid from head to toe.
Ease of Use
Playability is perfect. Low action and tons of sustain.
Quality
Impeccable quality. You just can't find this kind of quality in a guitar twice the price.
Value
As i said previously, There's no value better out there period.
Manufacturer Support
No need to use them if you know what you're doing.
The Wow Factor
All you have to do is play it once and you'll be going home with it:)

This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
Great piece of equipment.
Sound
The REAL Seymore Duncans that are on this baby create fantastic sound. The 5 way switch enables you to really hone in on the sound that you want. One position it sounds like a Fender and in another is almost has a Gibson-like sound.
Features
Quality through and through. Set neck provides sustain like you wouldn't believe. Tone Pros bridge, black chrome hardware, and REAL Duncans!
Quality
These are built in Korea but each guitar is set up and gone over here in the USA. The quality is there. Great components make this guitar.
Value
Great value for the money, try to find something that gives you what this baby does for the price. I got mine for $475.
Manufacturer Support
I asked a question via e-mail and they answered in one day.
