Schecter Banshee 6 FR Passive Electric Guitar
Extremely classy looks and playability make this a scorcher. Seymour Duncan JB SH-4 and 59 SH-1N humbuckers bring this super-comfortable guitar to life.

This model would have saved me thousands of $$ by not having to buy other name brands / similar models only to be disappointed with quality, workmanship, design and manufacturer support(if needed).
I was a little apprehensive about the passive pickups according to the description on ZZounds website of the sound characteristics being "vintage-style for cleans, light overdrive and crunchy distortion." I prefer a HOT pickup that I can tame if necessary. These DID NOT disappoint!! Had to turn down the feedback & reverb on my amp. They are scorchers.
FINALLY a beautifully crafted all around guitar with the Volume knob a comfortable distance from the bridge pickup(not so close that you turn the volume down while playing or beating your small finger on it...like my previous IBANEZ RG470 & Jackson. Simple, well placed controls.
Only issue was bridge pickup support shifted (likely during shipping) and pickup was canted to the rear. Not a difficult fix, but a little time consuming...not a big overall.
Neck profile, feel and set-up right out of the box were like I had it custom made. I'm still amazed and giddy about this guitar and plan to add another when zZounds gets the last "Pay as You Play" installment.
I sent an email to Schecter Tech Support regarding the pickup and other general questions re: schematics, etc...One of their Techs replied to my email and ALSO CALLED me before close of business the same day at the number I included in my correspondence. He politely and patiently answered all of my questions with confidence and professionalism.
SCORE: Schecter +1 very happy and impressed customer
ZZounds +1 loyal and very satisfied customer
