"Works for me"

I've had one of these since they first came out. I play an Ibanez SGR1306 6-string bass, and the tuner is rock-solid on all six strings, including the low B. Easy to see nearly across the street. I've had the top off just to see inside and it's a quality build. Mine's been rack-mounted with a Yamaha PB-1 (gets warm) since I got it, dropped lightly a couple of times and has always worked fine...I've never had to contact the manufacturer for anything other than bugging them to ship it to me when it was finally ready.

Musical Background:

Playing 20+ years with church bands; 1+ with corporate cover band.

Musical Style:

Praise music/rock/bits of country and blues, depending on what's going on.

I don't haven the money right now to buy a better tuner so I am stuck with it.
Sound
I wouldn't buy this tuner if I had the opportunity to do it again. I play bass. First, it will NOT register the B string on a 5-string bass. Second, it "freaks out" every so often - giving totally inaccurate tuning values. I have it mounted in a rack with dual fans so it is not an overheating problem. The one big plus is that you CAN see if from across the stage with shades on - I have worn shades onstage and believe me, this is true.
Features
5 string basses are becoming standard - any tuner should be able to tune the B string.
Quality
It doesn't do what it is supposed to do reliably - tune my basses.
Value
Buy something else if you can afford it.

Musical Style:

from punk to country
