Hasn't let me down yet and has bailed out a few friends when other amps have decided to peter out. Other than the dead-weight of 33 or so lbs,,,I can't say anything bad about the S700. It helped me net $18,000.00 in 3 years without a hitch. You tell me if it paid for itself,,,again,,,,and again,,,and again. I'll let you all know when I want to sell it,,,which may be a few more years from now so don't get your hopes up.
Sound
This amp has plenty of thump for it's class. Plenty loud and clear. I use it running stereo with a pair of Peavey Impulse 100's for a personal keyboard system in a band.
Features
Easy to use features, and options to connect speakers via binding posts and Speakon connections. Easy to bridge for more nuts,,,and twin thermal controled fans (1 per side) keeps it cool. Nice to have a circuit breaker rather than a fuse,,,never tripped mine out but imagine how fast you can reset it by pressing the button. Hey, any power amp this size weighing in around 33 lbs is no lightweight.
Quality
High quality, and low maintenance. Plenty durable as far as power amps go. Best bang for the buck for 2 space power amps. I've owned other Samson amps but I've stopped here with the S700.
Value
Comparing watts-per-dollar,,,this amp has plenty of value. At 350 Watts RMS per channel @ 4 ohms,,,that's less than $1.00 per watt per side. You won't be breaking the piggy bank to own it.
Manufacturer Support
Never had to call for help in 2 1/2 years of constant(weekend) use.
The Wow Factor
As with any amp,,,you get what you pay for. It was a great addition to my set-up with a lot of different uses and power configurations available. If want more power or you just want your ears to bleed,,then get the bigger version Servo (S) series amp.

Musical Style:

Country,,Southern Rock,,,anything with a little kick.
