First of all Sabian cymbals deliver the quality you expect. This cymbal pack is a perfect set for classic rock. I currently drum in two bands one classic rock and one Southern Rock and blues. This cymbal pack gives me the sounds I need for both. They remind me of AAX stage with a raw bell like the Xtremes. The 21 ride has so many sweet spots I'm amazed and the tones. Tons of cutting power and great tones. I also use HHX evolutions and AAX stage sets. Medium venues I use the AA and smaller venues I use the AAX and large venues I use the HHX. We play a lot of medium venues so this pack with the addition of a 18 ozone get a lot of use. I suggest that if your a part timer buy the XRS. If you play classic rock choose the AA with the bash ride. Blues, Chicago blues, Texas blues HHX evolution. And Southern Rock AAX Xtremes and The AA 21 bas ride Sabian is a great cymbal company,

I’ve always played Ludwig and zildjian they have always been my personal preference, it’s what learn to play on When I was 10 and still play 40 years later. It was to time to purchase another set of cymbals and this time I’m going to look all cymbal packs with open mind, And tell you this was very hard for me. Honestly I wanted to purchase another set of zildjian A, but I stuck to what I told self open mind, so after week of reading reviews and videos and reading reviews and videos!!!! These Sabian AA bash kept me going back again and looking at them. There was one review on them and the drummer play lot of the same kind of music I did, So I purchase them and they sound great!!!!
