I purchased this for my snare on my acoustic to electronic Ludwig conversion kit. I mounted it plugged into my Alesis Strike Pro module and it worked perfectly. The only adjustment I made was to turn down the snare volume. I recommend this dual zone trigger.

Despite roland advertising that this will fit any type of rim besides wood, it actually has issues securing to my drums. Even when I was able to connect it to the drum hoop I found the trigger was far too hot and didnt provide much dynamic response. The body is made entirely of plastic which makes me seriously question the durability and price. The competition, ddrum, 2box and Yamaha all use metal construction. I decided to return this and purchase the yamaha dt50s. That trigger is built like a tank, and although I did have to modify it a bit, I was able to achieve very accurate teiggering
