I was interested in learning how to play piano, I was recommended the RD-88 as an ideal option. 88 keys that are weighted but comfortable once you get used to them and the speakers sound perfect for bedroom practice. I've got zero to complain about with this keyboard is great for what I do. I was trying to decide between this or the Yamaha P-225 and I am glad I choose the RD-88. The price was a bit high initially, but now I am glad I bought a quality keyboard the first time. Buy once, Cry once.

I brought this piano because my wife and I were getting booked to do venues and I had a Casio Privia and a Yamaha Mx. The RD has more sounds than I ever thought I needed. The action is one of if not the best I’ve played on. It’s slip and portable enough to take to rehearsals as well as shows. I produce and play live with it. It’s awesome.

I wasted $190 in return shipping to find out that this is NOT a “stage” piano. I would be afraid to take this plastic toy out of the house for fear of breaking any part of it. It’s not even heavy enough to hold itself down evenly on a stand and because of its odd “deeper” dimension, it doesn’t sit at the proper height on your average keyboard stand. Learned a huge lesson on this one! Hope I can spare someone else.
