I think that this is one of the best small amps available today. It sounds much bigger than it is. The stereo inputs are great for stereo effects. It takes dirt pedals well, especially the amp-in-a-box style. The built in Roland chorus and reverb are rich and very musical. The tone is exactly what you'd expect from a Roland Jazz Chorus - all the gorgeous clean with sparkle (especially with the bright switch engaged) and richness, and never harsh. It's not cheap, but it's worth the price, IMO. Mine's a keeper.

Musical Background:

Playing for 25 years - guitar, bass, piano, vocals. Home studio only now.

Musical Style:

Rock, pop/rock, folk rock, and blues-influenced rock, plus a little funk and soul.

The instant I turned the amp on I felt like I was in familiar territory. It got better adding reverb and chorus. Very clean, clear tone. I feel like I can play whatever. It's a phenomenal playing experience. It's a "Jazz Chorus" but you can do whatever you want knowing it will make you sound good. You don't need to be Metheny or Scofield. You'll feel rewarded playing your style. Audition locally, but buy online at zZounds because zZounds is one of the most innovative retailers in the USA.
