FIRST the Piano is A+ it feels amazingly professional and is a joy and inspiring to play! 100% love this piano. Then.... there was this cheap thing called a pedal. Roland really scraped the bottom of the thought pool when they decided to through in the absolute cheapest thing they could conjure up. It ruins the experience of the piano. Yes it does the job but YES you will need to upgrade to a better pedal to match the overwelcoming quality of the piano itself. The sound it very very nice. obviously you are not gonna get a real life like grand piano sound out of this instrument BUT it is very pleasing to hear. The roland app allows you to adjust the brilliance of the sound and add some ambient so that helps fine dial the sound to your liking. I do recommend this product 100% but you will need to replace the pedal because it is extremely displeasing.

This instrument has turned me into a certifiable, Roland piano fanatic. Why? It has a righteous keyboard action, the smashingly good Supernatural sound engine, and no less importantly an app that enhances the piano's playing experience. Namely, the ability to record my musical excursions and play them back through the piano. The moment I pressed a key something stirred in me. This piano has vital signs!

"Roland FP-10 Big Piano Sound for Low Dollars"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars

What the Fp-10 by Roland lacks in features it more than makes up for in the crucial categories of sound and action. The app is 60% reliable when doing recordings if that. But I plug away hoping to capture my tracks. It has tremendous bass and sounds warm. The action is heavy and I like that. I have vague memories of my aunts acoustic upright as a kid. This piano approaches that. If you require a recorder I recommend the Roland Fp30x, which I got for that reason. A wise young guitar guy at my local store long ago said, "don't get one, get them all." No sense agonizing about this item or that item.
