This is my first Roland synth, I’ve had Korg and Yamaha, and this board smokes both. I’m still not through all the sounds on this board after weeks of owning it. I have no difficulty getting through the menus, I haven’t tried the sequencer yet however I’m looking forward to it. The dual mod/ pitch bend controls are sweet, it takes some time to get the hang of it but it’s definitely better than a just a single control. If you’re a beginner musician, this is the best keyboard to get because of all the sounds that are available on board. The layered or stacked sounds really help to encourage improvisation with amazing sounding drum patterns.If you’re a seasoned pro and never had a Roland this keyboard is the best choice as well. Plenty of ways to tweak and program your own sounds and again, the sound quality is inspiring.
