The Roland Bk5 fills in the holes for this worship leader that is a one man band. The 4 different variations actually allows me to build a songs dynamic. The drums, bass and other instruments follow me perfectly. Saved all my songs in the performance mode without opening the manual. The sounds are great.

WOW!! It's a good place to start Roland has done it again!! great sounds and backing styles. it is everything i expected and more, from the the feel of the keyboard and it's sensitivity to the easy to read display, and simple recording to a USB memory stick, they have left nothing out on this baby!!, The built in speakers are great and have a great sound, this is a perfect keyboard for the beginner to the studio i give it a triple thumbs up!

The Roland BK-5 Backing Keyboard is loaded with features found in most more expensive keyboards. An advanced keyboard player would be comfortable with this keyboard - and, if you are not an advanced keyboard player the BK-5 is a great, affordable, keyboard to learn on. The keyboard's features can also be expanded upon by adding other MIDI devices to it's MIDI outputs. It is lightweight and portable and can be used almost anywhere there is a power source. The speakers on the instrument work well for small rooms and practice; however, using a quality keyboard amplifier and speakers with this instrument will really make it stand out as the professional keyboard it is designed to be. It appears to be fairly rugged; however, you will want to take good care of such a fine instrument. I strongly recommend purchasing a hard case for this keyboard.

For the money this keyboard can't be beat. My primary performance instrument is the Roland Va76. This was bought as a back-up and am not dissapointed.
