I bought this from zZounds, took almost a week to arrive from their Mississippi warehouse (as everything does from that location!?) then after the GO II worked first time out of the box, the second time I pulled it out (thankfully within return date) the receiver was completely dead, would not take a charge, lights, everything completely dead regardless how long leaving it on the charger (with no charge light, it's def dead). Of course I was getting ready for a shoot (thankfully I checked it before leaving the house) so very frustrating to go back to backup mic (cheap lav that ALWAYS works - unlike this crap!). Called Rode, the 'kid' had no idea half of what I was even talking about. Fail! I'm sure this is a good mic, but now after a week delay getting it, and only having it for two weeks, I'm at the mercy of the return dept and replacement. All the while I'm still using old mic. Would be nice to use my new $300 piece of crap, but not for a while I guess!

I purchased this product because of all of the positive reviews. I needed a wireless mic system for a Zoom project. The gain control does not change. The numbers on the screen change but the actual gain does not change. I tried every update possible but nothing has resolved this issue. I contacted zZounds for help but all they did is give me the number to RODE. I contacted RODE. They said "They have never heard of this happening." I am very DISAPPOINTED!
