I received the microphone earlier today and took it out on a shoot this afternoon. The audio was quite excellent for something captured at the camera. I'm looking forward to using it again this weekend.Getting the battery in is a nuisance though, and when the battery door is opened the shock rings pop out. I appreciate that Rode doesn't make us use a screwdriver or something, but this heavily spring loaded door is a fail.
I rated Manufacturer Suport as a 5 but I haven't ever contacted them. The site makes you pick a value - many people say it's good so I rated it that way. I don't have any knowledge of it myself.
Musical Background:
I've played (badly) recreationally for 40 years. Since I'm not a great musician I record other, better ones.
