The Rode stereo bar is a really good implementation of a simple, but necessary tool. The offset mounting screws are really helpful for getting mics in close proximity without touching. The markings on the bar make setup really quick, especially ORTF which is typically a pain. The bar marks both the angles and the separation. ORTF (17CM) is clearly marked. The bar is made of hard plastic and appears to be pretty heavy duty. The bar mounting screws are 5/8" and adapters are not included, so you will need to provide your own adapters for most mic clips. The price is pretty high, but the stereo bar works very well.
