Awesome head and love the deep fat sound. Quick decay with quality that sound like it came from a more expensive snare.

Awesome, love the feel and sound. I listened to the rep from Zzounds and he said this is by far the best value and best sounding head and he was spot on. 5 Stars.

quick to replace and tune and has held tune for a month with 3x a week playing and sound only seems to get better.

very simple and glad we chose this head.

Quality is superb and looks and feels great. Nice tight seal and no vibration pickup from bass guitar to rattle the snares anymore. Awesome!!!

"great head"
This snare head is fantastic! I use it on my pearl 13 by 7 African mahogany snare and it cuts and has that fat and wet snare sound! Just tighten your boy head up super tight and tune the top to feel with loose snare wires and your good! Perfect snare drum sound!! Guaranteed!

eventually, I will probably replace. It produces nice tone, just not exactly what I prefer.
Sound
Like the ad says, it's for heavy hitters. So it does produce a good sound, but the best sounds come with good solid hits.
Features
I like that it is 2ply, so I won't have to worry about ripping the thing.
Ease of Use
You really have to crank this up to get the most cutting sounds, which is a little annoying. But again, it does sound "good."

Good quality for 10bucks!

great deal on a snare head, and it is durable so that's a huge plus
