Been playing over 50 years, tried all types of heads on many toms. Remo Emperor are my favorites. Easy tuning for any sound I want and you can't beat them for a deep, low tone. Long lasting, still sound good when they're worn out. For all toms, I prefer Emperor batter, Ambassador reso.
