Better for dj work than live Sound bUT you can time the box to work for smaller rooms. It will crank and will handle all the 40 hz you can throw at it. I have to cut 80 hz way down which tells me they tuned the box for dance djs. Great compact sub. zZounds has been nothing but great to work with.
