As the other reviews state the cable is oriented left or right rather than up and down. Despite them being oriented this way they fit perfectly on my eventide H9s. I have 2 H9s and these allow me to put them closer together I was able to plug them into the midi in and thru side by side without any issues.

They are flat and have a great low clearance as advertised and they appear to be well built and sturdy cables. The problem is they aren't angled 90 degrees downward. They either go left or right depending on the alignment of the MIDI jack and they cover up other ports within an inch of the MIDI jack. On the BOSS 500 series for example, they cover the DC power in or the MIDI out jack, or both. Be careful and make sure you have the clearance on your pedal before you buy. Rockboard also makes the FlaX that can be angled downward, but they are not low clearance like these. Thankfully I purchased one of those as well so I'm still in business.

Really strange. Sideways application to and from MIDI jacks. I can use ‘em, but no more purchases of Rockboard products.
