This is actually a review of the BlockDock 10TC and the Quilter 101H Mini Head. I bought the head last year to use as a backup but it sounded so good that I used it more often than my Mesa Boogie Mini Rect 25. Not that it sounded better but it sounded really good. The Surf setting is very nice. I've been having a little trouble with my back so I decided to try the BlockDock 10TC. I compared it side by side with my Mesa Mini and a MojoTone Lite 1x12 cabinet (MojoTone BV30V speaker). Granted, the Mesa and the MojoTone sound better but not that much better. So, 33 pounds vs 17 pounds and no major degradation of tone makes this a no-brainer. I mostly play in large casinos so everything is mic'ed and I'm competing with noisy slot machines.

I've been playing harmonica for over 50 years and guitar for over 40 years. Weekend warrior for the last 40 years.
