Portability meets power!!!! I bought the K12.2 first which are amazing speakers. This one I think is going to become my personal favorite of the two. Same powerful clean output, smaller lighter package. This may very well be my go to top for weddings, this little sucker pumps! Clean powerful highs and mids, respectable lows. I own these and the Bose S1. These are a little bigger and heavier than the Bose. Bose S1 are great, but no match for the k8.2. The only thing the Bose S1 has over these is Bluetooth and battery operated functionality. The K8.2 can easily handle wedding receptions of 120 arguably a bit more. Also perfect for lounge bar type scenarios. Super happy with these, more excited than I was when I got the K12.2! How the hell did QSC pack so much power into these little speakers???? Looking forward to rocking many parties with these, perfect for mobile DJs.

I have always been a fan of EV and JBL, don't get me wrong they are amazing brands and offer quite the quality of speakers. In this case I was looking for something that was portable and could pack a punch. That's when I stumbled upon the K.8.2. Let me say what you get for the price is totally worth it. Sound quality is amazing and the headroom of this little guy all I can say is wow. No matter how loud you crank it, they remain crisp and clear. Obviously it is a 8 inch so don't expect to be blowing away a huge crowd but 2 of theses babies and a sub would take you far. Get them you won't be disappointment especially if you love quality music

I waited several months and many gigs to do this review and these have a huge sound for small speakers. Once you learn the DSP settings and try them in multiple events you will see the versatility of these ! They are rock solid ! Way plenty of power and crystal clear. I also bought the regular bags, weatherproof covers and am glad I did.With 45 years in music I find these to be a solid performer in build, warranty and I actually called tech support before buying and asked any questions I had and they were great also! The sound dispersion for music & speech is awesome . Lightweight and powerful ! zZounds is a fantastic store and there 12 pay plan allowed me break up the payments and use these fantastic speakers at my events ! Many Thanks !

40 Years in music and cant say enough about the k8.2 .These are the real deal I bought 2 and its the best buy I have ever done and zZounds is awesome. I specialize now in corporate events as a DJ and wanted something very powerful for speech and background music but didn't want to be limited in the event the audience wanted to dance ! These boxes do it all .Rugged, solid incredible patching and rear panel functions even set on factory default. Thank you QSC & zZounds ! Another plus is that if you need to run without a mixer its all in the back of each speaker .

I own QSC K12s, K10s, KSubs, and KW153s. These are awesome for their size. I've been looking for a pair of small speakers for acoustic gigs that could double for quality floor monitors. Upon plugging just one in and running canned music, I was sold.

Don't get fooled into thinking that just because the k12 is bigger it's better. The dispersion of the k8 makes it a much more versatile speaker for a lot of practical purposes. I've been nothing but thrilled and amazed with the dispersion and volume of this incredible speaker. Totally worth it.
