I used this system and it worked just fine before the redesigned it. On the old system, it had a plastic piece which enabled you to install one humidity pack between the strings of your guitar and it was very effective. Now they have a double pouch holder that drapes one pouch over one string and the other pouch on the other side of the string. That method makes the pouches very fat & difficult to get down into the body of the guitar. I can see these packets breaking open while trying to install them into the body of your guitar. I ended up just leaving the in the case by the head stick. I won't purchase these again until they go back to the old system. I'm just going to buy another Kyser humidifier which works better than any humidifier I've used. You know the old sayinh, don't try to fix it if it's not broken. I hope D'Addario is paying attention to what their customers are telling them about their humidification system.
