Plug and play once the drivers are installed. Recognized instantly by all my DAWs. The Mixer knob (as opposed to a switch), and the I/O LED's are a bonus. Excellent sound. My only con- headphone output comes up a bit short. I had to crank the knob up almost all the way to get some good output. However, this is a common problem with USB powered interfaces. The ones that work off a power supply put out more headphone "juice", but they cost more, like the Audient ID14 or the Steinberg UR242. Earbuds work fine, cans may be a bit weak. TRS audio outputs on the back work great. The headphone jack is on the back. Well, I see no space on the front to put it.
