The Presonus replaces a Focusrite Clarett. The latter being too difficult to operate. What I like about the 2|4 USB is how simple it is. MIDI does not suddenly disconnect and can hook up a budget subwoofer to the Headphone Jac. I started out with Presonus a decade ago and have now happily returned.
