The features and sound on the AR16 are quite good. The bluetooth connection is very convenient considering I use this as a mixer for my practice room. The knobs and faders however feel fragile. I haven't had any issues with them, but I would not use this mixer for gigging. They would not hold up.

This is worse console that I've ever purchase, and at 60-years old, I've purchased and used a LOT of consoles. After many painful weeks of trying to reach Presonus for support, they finally admitted that it has a "design flaw", and won't be fixing it, nor producing this console for much longer. It does not support ANY type of PRE or POST fader AUXes. Totally unacceptable! Garbage!

"Pretty awful mixer"
Had the mixer for 10 days before returning to the shop due to the sd card recorder not working properly. Recordings sounded like a helicopter taking off in the background & the mic preamps are very weak . I have a behringer x18 air & its so much better quality & its cheaper, although you cant record straight to the mixer its the overall sound quality that matters the most. Very cheap feel to the whole mixer & the fx on board didn't blow me away either. Disappointed . Will Try a Yamaha desk now.

I experienced an issue with my mixer. It started staticky noises when i started it up. Then something blew up inside the mixer causing smoke everywhere and then the interface recorder went out and would not connect to my computer and the Bluetooth stopped working as well as the effects I and working on getting another type of recording interface.

One of the worst mixers I've ever purchased.The pres have to be cranked up two more than 75% for my to get any volume out of my mics. I run AKG 535.It'll random d boost a signal and lock my speakers sending into protect mode....If you're thinking about purchasing this boat anchor don't get a Mackie.Very disappointed
