I recently upgraded from the artist version to the professional version, and I must say it's well worth the money. There's quite a bit you're missing out on if you just have the artist version. If you're looking for a daw you can't go wrong with studio one. The Artist version will get you up and running and show you some amazing capabilities and work flow, BUT if you're serious about a daw and want ALL THE GOODIES and not just some of them then the professional version is the one for you. Save yourself a little time and just go with pro instead of artist, unless you're on a budget, or upgrading. its super affordable through zZounds. So give that some thought. Just YouTube how to upgrade it, there's a 2 minute video that's super easy to follow. The professional version has way too much stuff to explain why its so great, but I promise you will be more than satisfied with it, especially if you already have artist and are wanting to upgrade. I use to have abelton and was about to switch back to it, but between the work flow of studio 1 and the way it's set up its just amazing. I love everything about it. And I think most of you will agree as well. Shipping was super fast, and all in all I am super happy with this product.
