Exactly what I needed to be the main hub for my 3 pairs of monitors and floor sub....easy to solo in and out from each pair of monitors and checking the mix in mono has never been easier. Tracking vocals has also been great and I love that there's 4 different headphone sources to choose from with different levels for each....Happy with the purchase and definitely recommend!

"Destroys The Mackie Big Knob"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I purchased this monitor controller because I already love my Presonus Quantum interface and wasn't really enjoying my Mackie big knob passive controller. I was expecting this to mostly just help my workflow, but I was blown away to hear how much better both of my monitor systems sound when driven by this controller. It seems my Mackie big knob did not evenly increase volume across the left right channels when moving the master knob. I can now easily fine tune my volume and the balance is always precise. The built in meters and headphone amps are killer, and the whole thing adds absolutely no noise to my system. The built quality is super sturdy and it has pretty much every input type you could want. Im currently using the digital input for my main signal for my interface, and then I have my mixer on the second input, and my zero client box on the aux. While installing this controller I took the time to fully calibrate my system and it was well worth it. Now both my A & B systems are at exactly the same level, my meters read true, and the max master loudness has been calibrated to the standard of 83 SPL. Doing all of this has yielded a completely new love for both of my monitoring systems. Now I just need to get some Avatone Mix Cubes for the 3rd output.

"great product, cheap build quality."

Though the product works well and does its job, the build quality of the product is where it fails. I've currently owned this product for about 7-8 months and the plastic housing is beginning to crack for reasons I don't understand. Mind me saying that it's never been dropped and has been sitting in the control area of my home setup since I purchased it. For the amount of money that this product cost you'd think they'd invest in better housing to assure that this wouldn't happen.
