Sweet little drum set , I've been shopping around for a bebop set for a while, since most drum companies started making small club sets. this set sounds soo nice sharp birch sound ,vary professional sounding kit also well worth the money to spend on this kit. Great investment!!

I purchased this kit to avoid lugging big drums to venues that didn't require them. I must say I was very surprised at the quality you get for this price. I've used them in two venues so far and they were awesome. If you're looking for a small kit to purchase, I highly recommend this kit.

This kit arrived quickly and was very easy to set up. I was very impressed as it came with a riser for the bass drum and excellent fittings including a isolation mount for the ten inch tom. This little kit is a keeper. I have several high end kits from other makers and this kit is at the top of my list. As a jazz drummer I have now played it for six months and remain delighted. Excellent sound... the snare drum is on a par with some of my best and compared to the snare that comes with certain other name drum manufacturers the Premier is a knockout. The price was amazing and everything about this kit is such that any pro drummer who enjoys a small jazz kit will find nothing better.Premier have done a fine job with this kit

I had been searching for a small kit that I could fit comfortably in our music/art room (a 10x15 room), that didn't compromise in sound and punch. It fits perfectly in the corner, and the whole kit with hardware takes up a floor area of about 5'x5' (this includes myself and the throne). It arrived incredibly fast, but that has been my experience with zzounds. It was well packed, and was very easy to unbox and set up. It came with the heads installed and roughly in tune, though I'd recommend starting fresh and getting them where you like. After some tuning, the kit sounds great. It sounds like a full sized kit. I ended up putting a towel inside the kick to slightly dampen it. I added dampener rings to the tom heads, but these are all standard things for drummers. You'll want to adjust for your desired sound/feel. I play lefty, and this kit was really easy to flip. It is a very adjustable kit. I had looked at this kit and the Breakbeats kit. I'm glad that I had chosen this set. If you take the time to swap heads, tune it well, and care to add nice cymbals to the mix, this set is easily comparable to sets costing double or triple its price.

I bought this and when received it had buyers remorse and even asked for a return because I was expecting a satin color. However I decided to give it a try and man these drums look good and sounds better. I'm finally pleased with a 16" bass drum. I just put some moongels on the toms and left the stock heads. The 13 floor toms produces a very deep sound and the 10 tom sounds like a much bigger tom. Hardware is superior to what this price suggest. Not to bash, but I previously owned a breakbeats and this is definitively better looking, better sounding and the hardware quality is superior in every way.
