Ok let me start by saying i dont normally post any reviews but i wished i had read something like this before buying .. I went for the monster beats pro (only one side works now :( )and let me tell you theres a big difference first the hdj are made so that you cant even feel you have them on your head, extremely comfortable ,the sound quality is really good... Truly if you are a pro dj go for this pair, it might be the most expensive pair you'll get .. But trust me.. My only regret its not getting them sooner :)

Pioneer HDJ-2000 Reference DJ Headphones are great. I was really impressed. It was a toss up between the Pioneer's and the top of the line Beats by Dre headset. I was really leaning towards the Beats by Dre headset, but I had to think about that choice, because everyone wants the beat by Dre set. I know people have stealing or doing what ever it takes to get them. I would rather have a good headphone set with the same or not better quality like beat by Dre headset. I choose the top of line Pioneer headset, and I am very happy with my choice. A great quality headset.

I have been playing music since elementry school through college. I was a muscian, and now I am a DJ.

The Pioneer HDJ-2000 is an excellent choice for the DJ that is looking for a great sounding, reliable and comfortable headphone. The overall construction is solid! Unlike many others out there that try to imitate. Whether you're in the studio or spinning live on the set these headphones are great and handle the rigors of the road! This is my second set! I have one set at home and one I travel with when I spin. When ever I spin with one of my friends they try them out and immediately ask to buy them from me on the spot! I tell them no way and refer them to zzounds.com for the best pricing! That alone says all!
