Pioneer CDJ-800 DJ CD Customer Review
Sound
This CDJ has the same great sound as any other pioneer.
Features
could be cool if it has MP3 support.
Quality
built like a tank, we have it in a club, everybody uses it 4 nights a week and it lasts with no problems
Value
best value for you $$$.
the 1000 is too expensive, the 100 is not professional, and the Numark / Gemini is crap!
Manufacturer Support
pioneer service is ok, i would give it 8 out of 10, but better then that, this CDJ is not likely to need service!

"no heavy a-- records cd book from beginning to end and i do dj on turntables to dont get it twisted i do both but cds is the fut"
i want to prove that cdjs 1000 arent as good as cdjs 800
Sound
im one of the top djs in nj e-smooth if i use the cdj 800 are just as good as the 1000 same its your skills not the machine
Features
great the 1000 is over priced
Quality
the pioneer 1000 has thesame cosmetics as the800 i think poineer cdjs was the best thing made to used a cd book in stead of records but im a real dj i use records and cdjs
Value
the price sould be the same as the cdj 800 because they are and works the same
Manufacturer Support
cdjs are very sensitive you must clean cds before useing because once the player censor gets dirty it will not read the cds you must have a cd head cleaner on hand at all partys or it will kick out cd reading baddisc and it will eject it
The Wow Factor
its the best on the market i would batle any dj in the world on turntables or cdj1000 i would like to represent poineer800 against any product on the market .

"Pioneer cdj 800 a must have for serious DJ's."
For life. The set loop feature and the easy way the platter moves.
Sound
This is a great peice. I used to own the Numark cdn 88. That's a nice peice but it doesn't compare to the pioneer cdj 800. I don't want anything else!
Features
The set loop feature. Also the top easy touch platter.
Quality
I don't have a back up and don't feel I need to. I keep them in cases because they are worth it and because of how much I paid for them. Also as nice as these are you are going to want to protect them.
Value
Yes!
Manufacturer Support
I have yet to have any problem with this unit.
The Wow Factor
It looks great. Feels great too.

Sound
IT'S SOUND IS TRULY AWSOME!+
Features
LOOP FEATURE WAS REAL EASY TO USE. THAT IS WHY I BROUGHT IT OR AT LEAST ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS I BROUGHT IT!
Quality
THIS IS A REAL PRO DJ CD PLAYER!
Value
EXCELLENT VALUE AT A GREAT PRICE.
The Wow Factor

"get it before you spend more dough than necesary for the 1000 or anything made by anyone else. nobody touches the pioneer's."
Verified Customer
zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
Features
it makes those who purchased the 1000's a bit jealous. they are hard fast to validate the higher cost. we (800 owners) get all the best features for almost half the price.
Manufacturer Support
my headphone rebate took awhile to get to me. in fact, they forgot to send it. once i finally got through to a human being, it was taken care of right away.

"The BEST Digital Vinyl Turntable for the BEST price."
It's the best product around. I like everything about it and if anything would happen I would replace it with the same product.
Sound
Really clear sound.
Features
Excellent features. Only the ones that are needed.
Quality
Not too heavy, and easy to clean. Really good and durable materials used.
Value
It is worth it's typical selling price. It's actually the best item in stores.
Manufacturer Support
Unfortunatelly never dealt with the company.
The Wow Factor
The whole thing in general is perfect.

"Pioneer CDJ800"
A solid 10. The CDJ1000 is also a 10, but since this is half the price, its in its own category.
I wouldn't give any other CD decks a 10.
Sound
great sound quality.
could have used a balanced 1/4" output tho.
Features
although this has nearly all the features i'd really need,
it does lack some of the cool 1000 features:
- no hot cues
- no wave display
- limited to 0.05% pitch adjustment
with hot cues you can do some cool tricks.
and the pitch adj can always be finer, but 0.05 is fine by me.
it has no effects on it, but those belong on mixers or effects boxes IMO.
never buy a CD deck for effects, often the quality of the most important parts suffers for it (like the CDI-500's)
Quality
This is where the 800 shines, and destroys most of its competition ... except, of course, the 1000! That is the only better quality CD deck you will find.
I've played with most models of CD turntables. Numarks, denons, stantons, american audio.
NONE OF THEM COMPARE!!!
with the Pioneer you have no fear. the table is solid and sturdy. it doesnt skip. it plays everything... and is very durable.
Value
Great value if you are looking for something to compare to the 1000.
You can get two CDJ800's for the price of one CDJ1000!
Still, its very expensive.
Manufacturer Support
Havent dealt with support, so cant comment.
The Wow Factor
These units look fantastic. I think they look better than the 800.
The CDX and Stantons look cool at first glance. But when you see how flimsy they are, the 800 looks meaner than them all. If you are playing fast music (145+bpm) these are where its at.
