Surprisingly rich bass sound for an amp this size. Quality build. Does all I want from it. Have not yet tried with a battery, but using AC this baby pumps out the sound. Currently using it as a stage monitor while plugged into the mains through the direct out. No complaints!

I now do mostly Christian worship music and pit orchestra work for musicals, but have done rock and jazz in earlier years.

I love it this little guy deliver everything in small package , I'm signing in my band more than 10 years and for some reasons I change places with the bass player, I been playing the bass for 6 months and I have 3 kinds of amps of difieren brands , and this one is awesome!!!!! Nice work in the piranha speakers .
I recommend this amp ! For practice in home and small gigs .

I've had this amp for almost a year and use it every day. It has exceptionally clear sound and great eq. It's perfect for practice and small gigs. Would not use it with a drummer, though. Build like a tank and also heavy like a tank))

I bought one of these a few years back, not from zzounds but from Phil Jones directly from there web site had for a month and then one day during practice it made a hiss sound and then pop and some sparks flew out the side and it was done then they gave me a bunch of trouble with getting a new one I will never buy anything else from Phil Jones
