I just received this today.On the upside, it looks to be good quality and easy to operate.On the downside, it says it will hold tablets up to 12 1/2 inches. It only opens to 9 inches max. It will hold my tablet, but if you want one that will hold a larger tablet top and bottom, keep looking.

"Not very handy if you're a singer"

I got this mounting system and it's very complicated to set it up compared to others on the market. Although it looks very good quality, I managed to broke it pretty easily. I would suggest this one better for drummers because of the way it's built but not for singers or other musicians. Also, ipad has to be used without a case which ain't safe.

iPad can not be in any kind of case.. so i have to remove my cover everytime i play.. then put it back in the cover when i'm done.. the small arms that hold the edge of the iPAD are not.. i repeat not adjustable to hold an iPad in a cover.. i am not going to use this anymore.. if you have a permanent mounting need ... this is it.. BUY IT.. .. if you are a gigging musician.. DON'T BUY IT.. keep looking..... if you are like me i am not going to fumble around with my iPad in and out of its armor...and the arm won't even stay up even after cranking down on the knob.. an accident waiting to happen.. KABOOM.. there goes an $800 iPad.. pfffffft.. lol ... i just wish the Manufacturer would mention in Bold Print .. that you cannot use your cover or armor.. Peace out bros.....
