"Excellent Loudspeakers. "

I got these more for the reviews I had seen on other sites, not only that I have worked with the 12" set in other venues and I was impressed. I use these for small gigs stand alone on a CS-800, and medium to large gigs along side one or two 18" bass bottoms, and they really do work really well, and aren't too shabby for the price. Of course they can be used as stage monitors as well, because of the sideways edge on the rear. I like the SpeakON jack on the back along sig=de a 1/4" jack for ease of use and makes daisy chaining (I never do this if possible)easier. I suggest adding some lagging material or damping wool inside the speaker enclosure to tone down the nasty resonances these plastic enclosed loudspeakers typically have. These were not bad at all for that issue....but it does help. you might also have to add a little midrange to the EQ for these....they lack mids, but only slightly, due to the crossover point being so high for the woofer and rather low for that RX-14 to deal with....but they get it done and it works well.
