Peavey PV500 5-Piece Drum Kit Customer Review

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
I have done 3 gigs with this kit and it sounded good. You might want to upgrade the hi-hats soon, though.
Features
The kit came with accessories, but they were not designed to last. The cymbal stand is pretty good, but the tom holders and the hi-hat stand broke pretty easily. I wish it came with a stick holder! This kit sounded good with an indie rock guitar.
Quality
The quality i would say is average. It is not very reliable. You

"good set."

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars

i love the set. looks good, sounds good, and is plenty durable.
Sound
Most everything sounds fine to me. The crash/ride is okay, but you're gonna want to update if you want to stick with the set. hi-hat sounds good to me, everything else is good too.
Quality
overall it's a good set. not the best mind you, but not bad at all. the heads won't last you long, however, you'll need to replace them soon. if you want to get another cymbal to go along with it, get a crash, the crash/ride sounds more like a ride.
Value
It's definately worth it. Good for beginners or anyone else, i don't think you'll be let down by it.
The Wow Factor
i got the metallic green, which works for me. personally i think it looks great all around.
