Great little board ! I have no regrets in buying it.
Sound
The board does what it suppose to do. It does its job without adding any additional noise or hum into the mix.
Features
It has everything we need. I use it to provide the sound for a traveling Church Quartet. Its compact size and its ease of use fit our bill perfectly.
Ease of Use
Its pretty much of a no-brainer. Very easy to use.
Quality
I have not used the product for very long but so far feel that is is a quality product.
Value
Excellent value ! You get a lot in this small board for a very reasonable price.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't has to deal with any customer service yet. I do own a lot of Peavey equipment and have been very satisfied with them through the years.
The Wow Factor
It is a very professional looking piece of equipment.

"Great Mixer"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars

I needed a good mixer to both record practice sessions and also to use at gigs when the house has a sound system with no sound person. We are able to set it up at the gig with the same settings we record with and just plug it into the house system via the main outputs (bypass the house board). This greatly improved and sped up the sound check time. It works so well we don't need to do a sound check for balance or effects, just overall volume. We have three vocals, one guitar DI, two DPA instrument condenser clip on mics, one fiddle DI. We always set the 7 channels the same and the sound is great. For recording practice sessions we plug the tape outputs into a Marantz PMD660 field recorder and the sound is super clean.

Peavey PV10 Mixer Customer Review

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
I am sure it is not the best mixer out there, but for your money, I'd say that you can't beat it!!!
Sound
I've only play a little through it, since I got it yesterday, but it looks and feels very durable and all the knobs and sliders feel well built. The sound out of it was great!!!
Features
It has all the features I need, but I would like to see a volume slider for the control out. Maybe it's on there and I missed it, but I didn't see it last night when I was working on it.
Quality
Peavey is a great name, it looks and feels well built, plus it has a two year factory waranty!
Value
Everyone I talked to that is in the music game cannot believe that I got a quality name mixer for right around $200. It's a great value, expecially for a first mixer, like it is for me!
Manufacturer Support
Not sure, havn't had to call them on anything.
The Wow Factor
Part of the reason I bought this mixer was because it looked bada$$!!!! Other mixers just say rock......this mixer says LETS F#$&ING ROCK!!!!!!!!

1 minute 22 seconds
Sound
I have yet to use the phantom power preamp on a good condenser mike. Apart from that the sound quality is reasonable. A relative annoying amount of hissing is audible with dynamic mikes. When I connected this to a tube guitar amp there was a phonomenol hissing soundwhen the master volume or guitar volume was cranked up.
Features
Phantom Power, some primitive but useful digital effects (tape echo, lots of reverbs, shimmer, vocal enhancements), good EQ, 80hz cliping, evidentally lots of inputs..., individual muting for all tracks, all the average stuff
Quality
Yes, this mixer is solid and built for a life on the road but it lacks the quality of its predecessor. The sliders are jerky and the EQ controls have been moulded craply.
Value
Crap value, don't buy at the price advertised on this site!
Manufacturer Support
This piece of kit should last a lifetime. COULDN'T CARE LESS
The Wow Factor
Purely for the reason it's colourful and has lots of lights on it.
