After quite a bit of searching around, I stumbled across this cab and figured you usually can't go wrong with Peavey (for durability anyway) and coupled with 2 Celestion Green Backs for this price?! Had to give it a shot. Glad I did. Very versatile cab, can run 16 ohm stereo or 8 ohm mono, removable back so can run closed or open. Just what I needed. I run mostly open back, just my preference, but closed back sounds pretty decent, much more punchy.

Pros,1. It's a 2x12 of course.2. It's lighter weight than most 2x12s yet very sturdy at the same time.3. Great build quality with 18mm plywood and metal rounded covered edges.4. This is a biggie. This cabinet has the ability to run as either mono or stereo unlike the competing EHV 2x12ST.5. It has rubber feet on the bottom and sides to either set the cabinet horizontally or vertically to save space and/or for different sound possibilities.6. For the price it reasonable to consider.7. It has a removable back cover do you can play this either open back or closed back.8. Lastly it's loaded with Celestion Greenbacks 8ohms 25 watt speakers that sound great with my amp heads.Cons to be fair,1. It's smaller than a lot of other competing 2x12 cabinets like for example the EVH 2x12ST.2. It doesn't make clear what Celestion speakers you're getting so you don't know if they're Chinese or UK. At least with the EVH 2x12ST they let you know that you're getting made in UK G12H 30 Heritage speakers which also have more output than the Peavey speakers.3. Lastly it does come with casters to wheel around, those you have to buy and install separately. When comparing this to the EHV competition the main reasons I chose this cabinet over there's are because of the stereo speaker options and this was easy to set up as a vertical speaker(which it sounds amazing set 8n that position). IMO I don't believe you can go wrong with either the EVH or the Peavey 2x12 cabinet, it's all a matter of your wants, needs and preference.
