I bought it for myself. I decided on these because I needed A small kit because my space is very small I don’t need a concert size kit and this one fit the bill. it’s made extremely well high-quality all the way around. I’ve owned a lot of drum sets over the decades Some cost 10 times as much and they still weren’t any better than this. it’s very easy to put together just take your time and you’ll get it there’s lots of videos on YouTube if you don’t know what you’re doing. Everything worked perfectly and sounds great I use moon gels and I did change the heads to coated Remo ambassadors. I bought the Sabian Quiet Tone cymbal pack. Beautiful sounding! Looks great with the Grey Sparkle. Great pocket kit. I love the extremely light hardware. Very vintage like. The bass pedal works great! The hi hat is smooth.
Sound
Great sounding kit! There are some upgrades such as cymbals and heads and some type of ring control. These will help it to sound great! I was looking at a more expensive pedal. But decided I don’t need one.
Features
Beautiful job on the sparkle wrap! Pictures don’t do it justice!
Ease of Use
Tuned right up. Very Easy!
Quality
This product could last a lifetime if taken care of!
Value
High value! Well worth it!

Where do I start? This is a real drumset! My first set was a 1962/63 Pearl kit in Blue Sparkle. Over the years I’ve owned Ludwig Tama Gretsch Yamaha Pearl and Roland. This is a Great little kit. I upgraded the cymbals and the heads. I was looking for a small kit to suit my living in a very small space. And this is perfect! Suitable for beginners and those with experience. Very good build quality! Hardware is light but well made. Which I like. I use my own Throne. I also ordered the Sugar Maple Sweet Ride Sticks. Great and they are awesome!

"Small but decent"

I should've known by the measurements how small this kit actually is but I didn't think too hard into it. Bought it for my 8 year old daughter to learn on and to mess around with it myself a little bit but its a too small for me so that won't be happening. Says on the box when you get it "Designed for ages 4 and up" if that tells you anything about its size. I don't really see anyone above the age of 10-12 comfortably playing this so if the other reviews on here are from adults I honestly have no idea how they play it. Still a great looking kit and its definately legit. Stool/throne is pretty wobbily and tiny.

I don't no how this drum set is. Christmas present still not set up. 1st u get no instructions. They say go on line then a guy sets up a different drum set in 2 1/2 min. No parts list no close ups, he uses terminology a drummer uses, not a parent who is buying for a kid. I guess it's sort of, kind of like, the drum u bought only not the same so kind of sort of figure it out for ur self. Go view the instructions BEFORE u buy. The top hat is very different, the legs on the base drum r different. On the jr u get legs w/ 90 degree bend theirs r strait. Do they face in or out. I have one that won't tighten. The drum won't stand up. There's a little piece of rubber w sticky tape on one side its about 1"x4" no clue where it goes. As best I can calculate there is at least 80 pieces. 31 on the base alone. Tuning instructions tap here if its high turn it down if its low turn it up. Ok that was useful!! This was marketed at Christmas to compete w/ Ludwig's jr set. The adjustable peddle sold me. I wish I bought the ludwig. U get more colors u get detailed instructions not sure about the tuning. Also take a look at the base drum the screws that hold the drum heads on each side share the center piece. If u don't line them up perfect and balance them all the way around the screws warp. Look at cheap drums and u will see this. Ck better drums and each side has its own set of hardware. Ludwig has the better set up. If a company is to cheap to make directions specific to the product u bought then what can u expect in the future?? The set does look nice and is probably top notch for a jr set. I haven't contacted anyone yet about base drum issues. There's no excuse for no instructions.
