"Best sub 700$ guitar I’ve tried yet"

This is the second guitar I bought from zounds and the first one was an Epiphone modern figured SG and it’s a wonderful guitar too. But this PRS is on a whole different level. The neck is amazing the most comfortable neck I’ve played. Yeah I have pretty small hands and set up is pretty decent as well. I bought mine blemished and you can’t tell that it wasn’t new. so don’t let a blemished product worry you zZounds won’t sell you anything that is beat up.

This guitar is amazing. so many different tone options and just very well thought out and executed. However whoever cut the nut on mine should never touch a guitar again. It also blows my mind that it made it through multiple, multiple point inspections and was still sent out. The buzzing makes it nearly unplayable and now I've got to shell out money for the luthier. This was my first guitar purchase from zZounds and I'll probably just stick with Sweetwater in the future

An HSH PRS? Yes!!! As I do a far bit of country as well as rock and pop, I need versatility. Considering the price, I decided to pull the trigger knowing I have some time to decide. It arrived on Friday so I opened up the box and began going over it. First, it is beautiful to look at. Much better than the pictures show (Iri Blue). The fret ends were perfect and the frets were polished and smooth. The neck feels incredible. The setup out of the box was spot on. Impressed. I put my 8-40 strings on it and tweaked it. I was shocked at how absolutely incredibly it played. It rivals my beloved EBMM LIII's. I honestly can't believe the quality of this guitar for this kind of money. I have a 2023 594 SE, and while it's a very good guitar, it doesn't match up to how well the SAS is set up.Now to the sounds. The pickups are actually very good. I usually change pickups in this price range but I believe I will leave these alone. This guitar has a ton of spank and such a wide range of USABLE sounds. Typically the whole coil tap thing is underwhelming at the least. I have two other PRS with taps, a CE and the 594, and I just don't use them. I took this to Friday and Saturday gigs where the focus was modern country and I wound up using the SAS for the entirety of both gigs. The other guitar was my EBMM Cutllass HSS and that didn't come off the guitar stand. Just dumbfounded at how well this guitar quacks, spanks, and can just get nasty. The pickup positions both tapped and untapped are just mind blowingly good. This handles clean and dirt effortlessly. Ok, for around $700, you're not going to get a perfect guitar. I will definitely replace the tuning machines. Also, during the string change, the nut popped off. No big deal, a little wood glue spread on the bottom with my finger and it's good as new. Not matter what I would have changed the tuning machines as all of my guitars have them. The nut was absolutely no big deal. I've had American Fenders pop off. BTW,,, the nut was cut almost perfectly. Overall, this is a very serious instrument regardless of the price. I am truly astonished at the quality of this guitar. I'm not really sure if there is another guitar on the planet that could compete at this price point. I have an SE DGT on order since February. Still hasn't come in for me. I'm really curious as to how well that would compare to this SAS. That's going to be a VERY hard path to follow. I hope my build is not some kind of anomaly and that all of them are this well prepared. I've been playing professionally for almost 40 years. I have or have had EBMM (my main guitars these days), Suhr, PRS, Gibson, USA G&L, USA Fenders and I gotta tell you, this guitar can absolutely hang. Maybe I just got lucky but I'll take and hope the DGT can live up to this SAS.

Very nice guitar, well made and love the pickups, but its listed as a wide thin neck, its not thin as some of my other PRS guitars, but its good I have a David Grissom model and its closer to that lots of guitar for the money.

Got mine a few weeks ago, love this guitar ,its my 4th PRS and I lucked out and got a buety, very nice, figured body and the neck is full of birds eye and flame, this is a maple fret board on a maple neck and is a great feel, the humbucking pickups and the way they work with the single coil give a wide range of sounds, you can actually get a strat sound out of them.
