Received my 35th anniversary se custom 24 and it does not disappoint. Beautiful finish, out of the box plays great. No issues in production, action and playability setup to factory specs is spot on. However, the juice of this axe is the TCI pickups, really impressed with what PRS has developed here. They sound smooth, articulate, every note rings true and they cut through the mix with ease. Fit and finish is excellent, frets are dressed with no issues at all. Neck radius is10" wide with some girth not a whole lot but just enough meat on there. Really fabulous piece and of all the Custom 24s I’ve seen this is by far the best one including the 2 mini tap switches for single action tones. Definite must buy! Well Done PRS!!

The overall look of this guitar is just sexy, elegant, perfectly crafted. It is impressive and an amazing deal for under $1000It will give you both beautiful cloud sounding cleans and it stand up to a punch with a massive distortion. Highly recommend. Not one bit better than the PRS 'The Paul" guitar. Just as smooth, same pickups but the "Paul" is as good if not better and much more ornate. I'd take the"Paul" over any other SE anywhere.

Musical Background:

Very Experienced

Musical Style:

Classic Rock, really good tunes

"Good, great, but my bridge wasn’t level"

I think that this is an excellent instrument. Ticks all of the boxes. Neck is finished and there are no sharp fret edges. Inlays are beautiful, full stop. The fit and finish is almost perfect save a nick on the lower horn. Knobs, switches, and input Jack were all firm. Finish is not quite as advertised, but was expected and still looks good. The carve is nice. It is less dramatic than a core, it could almost enter CE territory, it’s a bit more subtle, but in a good way. I would not call it a bevel and it may not look it is very different from a normal SE. sounds and plays great. Love the single coils splits and the humbucker sounds. Neck is nice and comfortable but I wished the edges were rolled but I’ll were then down with play.

Musical Background:

Jam at home, church, with sister in law, playing long enough, do a bit of singing too

Musical Style:

Rock, hip-hop, rnb, blues, classical, fusion
