The photo does not do it justice. It has a gloss finish that is just beautiful. Once properly setup the guitar stays in tune and plays like a dream. This is my first PRS guitar and will not be my last. The guitar may not have the bells and whistles of many Super Strats, but sometimes you just need something simple to just PLAY. Out of 23 guitars this one is now in my top 5Thanks PRS and thanks zZounds! A Customer for life. Never disappointed.
Sound
The tone from this guitar is actually nice. Many people think at first it sounds a bit bit muddy for some amps, but honestly you just have to dial in the proper settings. i have mine with high gain setting, mid gain and clean and it sounds great.
Features
The guitar is pretty basic and it doesn't appeal to many players just because it doesn't have all the bells and whistles some others may have. It does have a coil split on the Tone knob. I love the feel of the neck and for me its been awesome as it stays in tune.
Ease of Use
I use a Boss Katana 100wat head and cabinet and can get any tone I am looking for and make it sound great no matter what.
Quality
I have to say mine came flawless. The picture on the zZounds site makes the guitar appear to be more of a matte or flat paint finish. This caused me to hesitate as I am not big on matte finish, but thought I would give it a shot since I do have some flat black guitars. When it arrived, It was a Gloss Finish and it was beautiful
Value
The Price is nice as it is well built and the affordable payments make that much nicer and easier to get a quality instrument.
Manufacturer Support
This is my first PRS guitar and I am very pleased with the product and will consider PRS Guitars in the future as one of my favorites.
The Wow Factor
The guitar stays in tune very well. It may need a setup when you receive it but once properly setup, it plays like butter and is very smooth. Many people complain about how it doesn't stay in tune. But it is all about the setup. I have a total of 23 guitars and this is in my top 5 now. (Les Paul, Strats, Ibanez, Schecter, EVH, BC Rich ,etc.)

I was amazed at the beautiful finish. The website photo serves it no Justice. It appears flat in color. also being able to buy a left-handed, Paul Reed Smith. I have trouble finding left-handed guitars that I truly like. This Paul Reed Smith came with no set up required. It plays, wonderful, stays in tune, it also has a tone pull out button that gives you even more better sounds. This guitar definitely goes in the top three of my many guitars. I have Gibsons, Ibanez, and my Epiphone collection . I can get the perfect sound that I want out of any of my guitar amps. Sometimes I feel that my Paul Reed Smith is too beautiful to play. I’m afraid of scratching it, but once I start playing, I play for hours thank you so much Zzounds for hooking me up with such an awesome guitar Hopefully you have more to choose from that are left-handed. In the future I will be buying more. Thank you.
