This guitar for the money, may be the absolute best American made PRS you can find. The neck feels incredibly and stays playing fast all night long. The 57/08 pickups are absolutely incredible and even do a great single coil impression when split. The no frills, open pore, finish is super thin, looks great, and feels wonderful letting the instrument truly feel like it is breathing. For at almost $1k less than a CE24 standard, it's an absolute no brainer.

I ordered this core guitar limited edition Egyptian Gold. At first I was not happy with it. I was looking for the neck shape of my 88 custom. I requested a return request. zZounds graciously provided this. I kept all the tags on it. However I couldn't help but taking down from my wall hanger. It was like having a guest in my house that became a really good friend. The more I played it the more this guitar revealed just how awesome it is. This is a core instrument at an unbelievable good price. I played my 88 for years professionally using only 1 position of the 5 way rotory switch. This guitar is more user friendly more usable tones than my custom 22. It's a beautiful guitar, fitand finish is great the neck gives you a feeling of an old friend. The nitro finish is perfect. This guitar is the perfect example for a working musician. Ease of operation great vintage tones going from clean rhythm to whatever amount of distortion you want with the volume knob. So there you have it. My honest assessment of an unwanted guest in my house who has become a treasured friend. Summary, best PRS experience yet!!
