"Plays better than more expensive Ovation models"

I sold my ovation custom 2771 deep contour bowl priced 400 dollars higher than this model because the neck was too wide and I spotted imperfections with the frets and the binding, but this guitar is built better and plays easier. While the electronics are not as good as the custom model, this less expensive Ovation plays and sounds better, this is the easiest playing instrument among my 4 acoustic guitars. The mid bowl size is actually fairly shallow and very comfortable, much easier to handle than the deep bowl. I would never buy an Ovation deep bowl again, but these mid bowl guitars are just perfect, built really strong, stay in tune and sound really sweet.

"Melodic Bliss"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
A roommate of mine used to play the hell out of his Ovation Balladeer. This mid-depth bowl model puts out some of the most pristine, deep tones that I have ever heard. The sound is crisp, uniquely Ovation, and melodic. The workmanship of this guitar is flawless. I am about to purchase one for myself.
Features
Wish it had gold plated tuning knobs like it's Celebrity brothers, but the chrome ones look slick also.
Ease of Use
Fast playing neck, and ease of access to higher octave frets with the cutaway bowl design.
Value
This is no starter guitar; the Balladeer delivers crisp, melodic pitch and harmonic sounds like no other guitar I have ever heard.
