I only owned the case for about 2 months before I sold my DDJ-SR, but it was definitely rugged and took a beating. Was a great way to keep my DDJ-SR in great condition. Also, the slider was perfect, as it eliminated the need for a laptop stand.

"Great looking, but cheap materials"

This new product is made with 1/4" plywood in the bottom, and Odyssey used regular screws in some parts. High price for the construction materials, than the others FZ chrome products. The glide slider for the laptop never stop. Didn't have a security stop.

I received this item with various dents in the front ball corners. Uses some screws may be the rivets is out. The bottom ply isn't made with 3/8" plywood was made with 1/4"ply ( very weak). The glide plattform didn't have a glide lock. Beautiful black label design, secure high density foam, secure the controller. Conclusion: Low profile for a high price.
