Everything about this wireless system seems to check all the boxes... Tuner with selectable mute/bypass buffer, cable tone generator, automatic syncing, DI box with ground lift, 1/4" cable input, variable db boost, and loop pass through. A+ right? Wrong, the wireless transmitter itself drops out at random times. Not only that the receiver acts as if the transmitter has been turn out and it begins searching again for the unit. So when drop outs to happen, they're a few seconds each time. Another missed opportunity is the boost option, it only functions when using the wireless transmitter. Meaning if the system goes does and you'd like to use the 1/4" cable input on the side the boost option is no longer available. Another downside is if using an unisolated power supply or daisy chain, the receiver emits a high frequency digital tone, even through the DI out with the ground lift engaged, which goes away completely when muting the loop. I wanted to keep this system yet the NUX customer service is pretty horrible, after nearly 3 weeks waiting for NUX to return an email regarding support for the dropouts I had decided it was better to just return it rather than waiting for a fix that might never come.
