Numark TT500 Turntable Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I don't know if i'll ever need to upgrade. I like they better than technics, so what is there to upgrade to?
Sound
It all depends on your carts, mixer, amp, and speakers.
Features
I love the dual start/stop buttons, and the ajustable brake speed.
Quality
Very very solid.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't delt with them.
The Wow Factor
Its damn sexy, but no TTX.

"Great deck with awesome features. I have durability questions."

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I love my decks, But, Like i said one broke after 1.5yrs, It puts a little worry in my mind. If they offered a 3yr factory warranty, I'd feel better.
Sound
sounds great! No feedback,hum,or static.
Features
The only reason i rank it at a nine is cause the ttx has more features like pitch lock ,variable torque ,and digital connection.
Ease of Use
very easy to use everything is well lit and easy to find the fader and bottons are smooth.
Quality
Here is where my hopes came down a notch. After owning a pair for just a One and a half years, One of my decks failed on me. A little dicouraging when i have friends with 15 yr old technics that never failed.
Value
bang for the buck the best table on the planet.
Manufacturer Support
I never needed tech support. But, the one year warranty blows. I would be happier with a 3 yr warranty like the mixers.
The Wow Factor
Its pitch black, and it doesn't look like a lunch box.

"the TT-500"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
the best table out there. dont be fooled by more pricey tables, the only reason theyre fooling u is because the price is so high. nothing disliked about tt500. stanton str8150 are the closest that comes to this table and is also an outstanding deck.
Sound
top quality sound, sounds good also with pickering pro needles, nothing better iv seen and iv dealt with many decks before
Features
interchangable tonearms like no other table, more torque actually than the TTX which has 3.7-----this has 5.0!!!! nothing has more torque in the market! customize this table to whatever u like....
Quality
this table is supreme....duznt need a BPM counter and blue diplay which is a waste of money and not necessary...top construction with extra powder finish which is good because metal underneath cannot be scratched or dented...last many years and will hold the stantard at the top
Value
considering the tt-500 has the best in feature, the price is pretty low which gives any dj a great opportunity to try it out to see if it satisfys them...... IT WILL!
Manufacturer Support
EXCELLENT COMPANY
The Wow Factor
everything looks great couldnt look better. everything is the best

"wheels of steel"

This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
awesome deck, 'nuff said. i have two right now and will be buying another one this summer.
Sound
sounds great, even with numark's standard gruvtool cartridge.
Features
it's at least as good as any other analog deck you can buy. i have no need for digital circuitry on the deck... these are the same tables as the numark ttX without the bpm counter. by the time i use my ears for 8 seconds on the pfl i can get two tracks closer than with any bpm counter i've used. vinyl media is analog, the first piece of equipment in your device chain to need digital implementation (if any) is the mixer. the decks come with both s-shaped tone arms (for long mixes) and straight arms (for scratching). i have used both at length, and it's great to have the freedom to find your style and preferences after you purchase these kickin' decks. they obviously designed them closely with people in the industry. one of my fav. features is the twin stop/start buttons on the side, meaning you'll always be able to reach them however you orient the deck.
Ease of Use
it's a turntable...
Quality
rock freakin solid. i've actually dropped them a couple of times loading/unloading with no effect. i don't think i could break them if i tried. they feel solid, at 19.6 lbs / deck, and they have four big rubber shock-absorbing pads on the underside to grip the surface. the aluminum platter has the perfect amount of momentum, because they were able to make it heavier than some due to the incredibly high (the highest you can buy) torque of the motor.
Value
my favorite analog table, low price.
Manufacturer Support
no problems, numark answers questions fast.
The Wow Factor
these are some intimidating tank look-alike tables that are all-around high quality. no problems, try some out if you don't believe me.
