I only DJ for small friends and family gatherings. I maybe DJ once a year. I am by no means a professional DJ. I have had other controllers in the past that were a serios pain in the rear to run. For what I do this controller is awesome. I do not need all of the bells and whistles. I essentially only use it for listening to the next song in the headphones, setting the volumes, and cueing the next song when one is about to finish. It's great that this controller has an internal sound card. It makes hooking everything up so much easier. I really did not need allot of EQ functionality on the controller itself because I am running into an EQ where I can really fine tune the sound. If your like me and your not making a living DJ'ing, you want a small controller, and you want something simple to run- then jump all over this controller. It's amazing for the price
